Sweet Penny was just brought in to MAD from a shelter in IL. She is clearly needing some medical attention and extra weight as she currently has a body score of 1 out of 5. To put that in perspective, she is the lowest weight a dog can get in terms of emaciation before passing. Have no fear, MAD is here! We have her in a wonderful foster home who will be working on packing on the pounds in a safe and healthy manner. She will also incur a ton of medical expenses as weight isnt her only uphill battle at the moment. We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
