Description:
L Bonnie is a mature lady that ended up in rescue. She is now 10 years old and has unfortunately lost her family. She does great on a leash (pulls some when she spots a squirrel), loves to go for rides, loves everyone she meets and is a perfectly house mannered girl. Bonnie has gone to work with me at times and we all forget she is there - she just snoozes and hangs out. She has done okay with some dogs in rescue but it doesnt last long so I will be firm she needs to be an only dog - period. Because she is a older I would suggest no small children - she is past babysitting age. If small kids visit your home simply put her up and protect both her and the children from any incident. Sometimes we need to protect the dogs as much as they protect us. Bonnie gives the sweetest little nose kisses and absolutely loves her grown humans. She has met a horse, steer and goats with no interest. I do not know about cats. She also has an ugly scar on her front paw. She had a benign growth removed and was absolutely NOT having the cone. Bonnie really needs a home of her own to finish out her retirement years. She really is the sweetest girl and just tugging at my heartstrings to still be in the kennel. Please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms.
Please note all dogs are located in San Antonio, TX. We advertise out of state due to the critical pet overpopulation problem here in the south. We use Our Texas Rescue Connection to transport the dogs to your area. They are all up to date and come with a health certificate. The fee is $170 adoption and $180 transportation = $350. Thank you for considering adopting a southern dog.
