55lb, 4 year old Zita is a retriever lab mix. Shes great with 5 other foster dogs and fosters children. She sleeps in her crate, not a barker, doesnt chew on things which arent doggy toys, respects fences and enjoys her car rides. Zita loves people and is excited if theyre away and come back but in her normal state, shes a calm gal. If youll let her, she loves being a lap warmer. Ziva was on her last day before being put down and looking into those soulful eyes, we saw nothing but sweetness and know shell make a wonderful pet. See more pictures in the comment section. The adoption fee covers pull fee from the shelter, cost we paid to bring them to VT, vetting, paperwork to get them across state lines, shots, spay (when using our vet), deworming, food and more. Some adoption fees also assist to defray the cost of other Winnies Legacy pooches whos vetting cost exceed their adoption fee as we save all breeds, colors, ages and special needs.
