Lilly Anne

In shelter Dog

San Diego, CA, 92172
Pet name:
Lilly Anne
Black Labrador Retriever
At first glance, Lilly Anne would seem to be the one who doesnt belong. She doesnt look like your traditional German Shepherds. Most of our Shepherd mixes dont. Her ears dont stand erect. Her color and face and the tuxedo she so proudly wears are a giveaway for the Lab breed she is mixed with.

For all of her differences, Lilly Anne has one thing that connects her with all the rest, one thing that makes her just like them, the need of a family. On the good days, Lilly gets to go on walks with her volunteer friends. She gets to enjoy her time in the yard, and sometimes even flirt with the dog next door.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.

Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
