My name is Velvet. I am a lab mixed with BEAUTIFUL!! I found myself at a local animal control and my number was up the next morning. So BFF stepped in and gave me another shot at life. 

I am a large girl...only 50 lbs now, but will mostly likely put on some weight. I am loving and gentle, but still very confused and shy.. I have not soiled my kennel since Ive been in their care, so I am well on my way to being housebroken.

I do well with other dogs, except where treats and food and probably toys are involved. 

I love car rides...my picture indicates that, look how happy I look in that one photos...that was my car ride on the FREEDOM TRAIN...to my new life!! 

I will be fully vetted, spay, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, Heartworm tested and placed on monthly preventative before I go to my new home. My adoption fee is $200.00

Being shy and timid..I need a home that is going to give me time to feel secure and assure me that it is all going to be just fine!!!

I am very sweet and just want a family to love me, so if you think I could be the girl for you...there is an application process, that doesnt lock you in..it just gets the process started and a home visit will be required. Location is not an issue.
