Kassie is a unique girl and needs a very patient and loving forever home. This smart and affectionate girl is a 50lb. Black Mouth Cur mix who is housebroken, crate trained, leash trained, spayed, current on preventatives. Kassie was successfully treated for heartworms and is looking forward to living her best life in her fur-ever home. She would do best in an environment with smaller dogs and does well when being introduced slowly to other household pets. Kassie currently lives with two foster brothers and enjoys spending time playing in the yard with them. A single person household or a family with no small children would be an excellent fit for her. Kassie is a great car & truck co-pilot and ready for any adventure!

When Kassie came to the Rescue family, she appeared to have been fending for herself most of her 2-3 years. She was severely malnourished and unsure of her future and who would help her. We are so proud of her amazing progress on learning manners and social skills around other dogs thanks to her hard work and learning with K-9 Direction! This wonderful group will be available to work with Kassies fur-ever family to continue her training. While she is a work in progress, her potential is limitless with never-ending love to give. Kassie loves people and being showered with attention. In return, she will provide all the snuggles you could ever ask for! She is a big fan of being brushed, chasing a ball, chewing on her toys, hanging out in the backyard and being wherever her humans are. Her fur-ever home must have a 6ft. fence and be filled with love, patience, and a willingness to continue her training.
