Description:
Blue is a 6 year old Blue Tick Coon Hound and possibly mixed with German Shorthair. She is a sweet dog
that is potty trained. Her owner had to make a difficult decision to surrender her, but it was the right decision to make. She loves to be with people. She has been behaviorally assessed, and she received glowing reports. Blue seems to be fine with bigger dogs, but she isn’t sure about what to do with little dogs. A meet and greet would be a must before fostering/adopting. Her owner said she is fine with children around 11-12 or older as she is a very strong dog, however an adult only home would be best. Blue did not show food aggression. Blue loves to go on walks, but she will need some leash work. She comes with a no pull halter. A home with a fenced in back yard would be preferred. She will definitely make someone a very lovable and loyal pet.

Blue currently has an appointment to get spayed and vaccinated. This will be done before adopting Blue. We are also currently looking for an emergency foster. Please reach out if you or anyone you may know is interested.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
