Meet Briar! Briar and her sister, River, are looking for their forever home. We would love to see Briar and River to be placed in the same home as they have lived together most of their lives. However, they can be adopted separately. If that happens, we would prefer that there is another dog in the home to help with adjustment and companionship.
Briar is the sweetest, most well behaved girl. She is a people pleaser and listens well (which if you know hounds...that is not always the case). Briar is very laid back and just wants to chill. She doesnt have big expectations and is happy to just lounge and hang out.
She is around 3 years old and is crate and house trained. She does well with the other dogs in her foster home too. We are recommending no cats. While Briar does not bark often, when she does, it is very loud. Because of this, we are also recommending no shared walls.
Adoption Fee: $300
If you have questions about this dog, the adoption process, or are interested in meeting a dog, please visit www.houndsong.com and complete the adoption application. No meet and greets will be scheduled without the completion and approval of an adoption application. All our dogs live in foster homes, so a meet and greet will have to be scheduled with the foster family.
HoundSong Rescue dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. HoundSong Rescue also offers Fi Collars for an additional $100 fee. Fi Collars are GPS collars with many other features we find valuable when owning a hound. Our amazing adoption coordinators will happily answer any questions you have in regards to the Fi Collar and the dog you are interested in adopting.
