"Baylee here! 

Im 7 years young, and I love to be surrounded by my people.  You see I was in a scary place called the shelter for months, and its still too raw in my memories. I get very worried when Im alone, I love my people,  they make me feel safe. I love to be with them all day and night long, spending all my time with them. Im learning to be a brave girl again, with the people I trust by my side. I need someone who will be patient and love me, for all that I am, and help me continue healing. " 

Baylee had a rough time in the shelter, she is recovering very well in her foster home, making strides day by day. She absolutely adores to be around her people, and loves sleeping in her crate right beside her peoples bed. She is good around calm natured and gentle dogs, as well as dog savvy cats. She can be left out of her crate while running errands, but her nose knows and she needs a "hound proof" home! Baylee is on a vet recommended diet to continue keeping her itchy skin and ears at bay. Speaking of bay, she has the most beautiful hound song and loves to sing the songs of her people while outside! 

Baylees home should be a family that are homebodies, and where someone is home majority of the day. She would do well in a home with dog savvy children,  over the age of 10, a dog savvy cat, and a well mannered and calm dog sibling. 

She is currently being fostered in Amaranth Ontario. Due to her sensitive nature, a few meet and greets prior to final adoption would be best for Baylee. An applicant close, or willing to drive, would be best for Miss Baylee. 

We are asking for no high density housing and a fully fenced yard for this hound. Adoption fee is $450 Canadian.  Please fill out an adoption application found in our website to get the process started!
