REGAL BLACK BEAUTY DOB 10/1/17 Hi everyone! Im Nicki, a sweet, quiet, affectionate, beautiful, black DSH/ Bombay mix gal with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and copper-penny eyes. Im a "Velcro" cat because I like to sit quietly beside my foster meowmy while she works from home. Thats just in case she stops for a break and gives me a scratch on the ear or a pet on top of my head. I luxuriate when she brushes my glossy coat. Im a bit plump because I tip the scales at about 13 pounds, but I pride myself at being an elegant plus-size model. I have a lot of extra skin thats soft and squishy, and I adore when Foster Meowmy scratches it. Ive never been around kids or dogs, but I get along great with the other cats and kittens in my foster home. My sister Chrissie and I were rescued from dumpster-diving at an apartment complex in southwest Houston. My favorite parts of the day are treat time and when I get my turn in the hammock. Like human sisters, Chrissie and I argue over whose turn it is for lying in the hammock and getting an even share of the treats. Hopefully youre not superstitious because, as Groucho Marx said, "A black cats crossing your path signifies that hes going somewhere." Im so glad that I was brought to my HOPE foster home instead of a shelter because black cats are five times more likely to be euthanized at a shelter. Most people who adopt black cats once want to adopt one again because of our outstanding personalities and emotional stability. Although Chrissie and I are available separately, itd be the cats meow if we could be adopted together. That way wed keep each other company while youre at work or on vacation. If youre looking for a regal black panther whos past the stage of kitten mayhem, Im your girl! Arrange to meet me (and Chrissie, for that matter!) today! HOPE ID 18-0120-0003 If you are interested in Nicki and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at hope@homelesspets.net and a volunteer will get back to you. 10/8/22 11:10 PM
