Zara is pretty girl and a great dog who was picked up as a stray. Zara was very frightened at the shelter and didn’t want to be restrained, and was afraid of men. Zara has been in a foster/boarding home for two months now and the family has earned her trust, including the husband https://youtu.be/MtpwBkJD_tQ   Zara is all smiles these days. Her only issue is she does not like to be restrained, but we think with time she will trust her new owner if they stay kind and patient with her. Earn her trust, like her foster did, and of course, peanut butter! Zara is super housetrained and she does not destroy anything. Zara is about 3 years old and weighs about 57 pounds. She tested well with other dogs HOWEVER we have discovered she is VERY protective of food and toys so would be best as an only dog ?. We do stress Zara needs a dog savvy family and most of all a requires a patient owner. She is looking for a family to love her unconditionally.
