Meet Navy! 

She is a 5-year-old border collie mix that is about 35 pounds and is fully grown. She loves to pay with toys that crinkle or squeak, and in the winter, she loves to put on a sweater! Navy has had experience in a home before and did really well with housetraining and she even keeps her kennel clean here at the shelter. Before starting our play groups, we believed that Navy was dog reactive/dog aggressive, but we have since seen a whole other dog. Since starting our play groups, Navy has started socializing with other dogs and it has brought her out of her shell. She can still be nervous when meeting someone new, but once she is comfortable, Navy will melt your heart. She would still do best in a home with no kids, as small kids make her nervous. She loves to run, jump, and throw toys around when she is playful and energetic, so a fenced in yard is still required for her. She amazes the people that see her, because of how high she can jump! She is a major snuggle bug and doesnt understand the phrase personal space! Navy is ready to find her forever home and a family that will run her energy out!
