In shelter Dog

Little Rock, AR, 72207
Pet name:
Border Collie
This classic black and white beauty is Felicia, who, no fault of her own, has found herself needing to be rehomed because her owner cannot afford her. We are not certain of her breed, but we think there is some lab and some border collie in her, however, her energy level is just medium, unlike some border collies. Felicia weighs in at just the right size, 46 pounds, and her age is between 18 and 24 months. This sweet girl is house trained, leash trained and rides well in a car. Shes smart and eager to please. She is fine with other dogs and also with children. Felicia has personality plus and would fit in just about any situation.

Felicia has been fully vetted (spayed, rabies, microchip, etc.,) and unfortunately was found to have heartworms. :( Out of the Woods will pay to have this problem corrected and because she is so very young, we do not anticipate her having any issue with treatment and hopefully the treatment will be short-term because of her young age.

If you are interested in meeting this sweet girl, please start with the Adoption Application, the link is just below. Adoption fee is $150.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
