FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOMES NEEDED!!

**Please apply at https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/adoption-info#adoption-form**

We would love to welcome Mitsy into the Fetch + Releash family on October 16th 2022! In order for Mitsy to come into our care, we need a committed family. As a foster-to-adopt family, youll be expected to take him home on his arrival date. You will then have two weeks to get to know your new furry house guest before committing to adoption. At the end of two weeks, if you choose not to move forward with adoption, we simply ask that you continue to provide a safe and loving home until their new forever family can be found.

Each bio was created by our rescue partners based on their interactions with the dogs. Fetch + Releash has a full disclosure policy however we cannot guarantee a dog against parasites or diseases, nor can we guarantee a dogs nature/behaviour. Many of these dogs are coming directly from the shelter and so you should expect there to be a transitional period. Be prepared to deal with common issues like potty training, leash walking, and socialization. Cat and kid safety assessments are often based on their personality and not necessarily on actual interactions.

Where possible, the majority of vetting will be completed prior to coming to Canada, however, foster-to-adopt families may be required to travel to our partner vet Mississauga, ON for further vet care.

During your foster-to-adopt trial, youll receive the support of a Fetch + Releash mentor to help you through the transition and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Foster-to-adopt families will be required to pay a $200 deposit on the adoption fee and sign our foster-to-adopt waiver in advance. If you choose not to adopt, your $200 will be refunded to you within 30 days of your dog being adopted into a new family provided you see your pup through to adoption. If you choose not to see your dog through to adoption, you will forfeit your deposit.

Foster-to-adopt families will be expected to provide their own supplies. Visit https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/adoption-info for more info on mandatory supplies.

Mitsy| Border Collie Mix | Female | 47lbs | 1 year old | from Tennessee

Miss Mitsy was found as a stray wandering alone in rural Tennessee.

She beautiful girl is a quiet and listens well.
Mitsy is a sweetheart and loves affection, her eyes are just always asking for more pets.

At her current foster home she lives amongst many other dogs and gets along with everyone wonderfully.

She has all the basics down but her new family should expect some potential accidents while she adjusts to her new home and routine. She is still young which will make continued training easy.

She has such a wonderful temperament and would fit great into a family with kids and other dogs. She wouldnt mind a doggy sibling but would also do well as the only dog in the home so she can soak up the love all to herself.

Shes lower to medium energy so she would be suitable for any type of home as long as she is able to get out for a couple walks per day. She is quite content just hanging out.

This lovely lady cant wait to find a family of her own.

Mitsy is Ehrlichia positive and is currently completing her treatment on doxy.
