Meet Rosie, previously adopted from ARF as a young puppy known as Aspen! She is a 7 month old Boxer / Coonhound mix who weighs approximately 40-45 pounds. She was recently surrendered due to her

owners health decline. She is currently awaiting her forever home. Rosie would thrive in an environment with other dogs or kids. She loves the large yard at her foster home and enjoys soft toys that squeak and honk. She is currently very high energy and wants to play all the time. She really does not have a mean bone in her body. Her favorite treat is love and affection(and beggin strips). She really just wants a fun playmate who can keep up with her energy. Shes still a puppy who is learning basic commands, housetraining, and manners, although she is learning quickly and enjoys the mental stimulation of regular training sessions. Shes very friendly and sweet to every animal and human she meets. Rosie would make a great addition to any active household.

This pup is micro-chipped and up to date on all vaccinations, and spayed. The new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. The pups adoption fee is $375. Please note ARF does not approve applications for any puppy under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if youre interested in adopting this pup fill out an online application today! https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting. ARF is an all volunteer organization. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved. Thank you for your patience!

More information about our adoption process can be found on our website here: https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/

Thank you for choosing to adopt, not shop!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
