These five adorable girls, Sheila (white), Tina (turquoise), Gucci (blue), Prada (light green) and Sammie (dark green) all came from the same home. In fact, there are a total of 40 budgies from two sets of parents. For The Love of Birds will be taking in a total of 20 female budgies as openings permit. The owners are keeping the males and have separated the sexes in their home to prevent any additional clutches.

The girls are in a large flight cage and are hanging out together. They were used to being free in a room with the other female budgies and have been adjusting to being in a cage in their foster home. They have lots of perches to explore and toys to play with. During the day they have been watching music videos on YouTube.

The group are being fostered in Manalapan, NJ and will only be adopted to someone that is willing to drive to do the required visits. We will NOT ship our birds.

For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster home throughout NJ and Eastern PA, we have no central location.

As our adoptable birds are living in volunteer homes, or in their familys home, we only allow approved applicants to meet our birds.

If interested in meeting Sheila, Gucci, Prada, Sammie and Tina, please review our adoption policies and complete an adoption application on our website ftlob.rescuegroups.org.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
