Penny came into rescue distemper +  eith two broken legs (in two places) and a severe URI. The shelter gave her to end of day due to distemper concerns.

Penny was found on the side of a freeway by a good sam who saw her thrown from a car.

Rescues Rock quarantined Penny until vets ascetained that her distemper + test was due to her vaccine. Phew! Dodged that bullet! 

Rescues Rock stayed the course with Penny through many months of weekly vet appointments. Penny learned to walk and run and be a normal puppy:

Penny is living the good life in Venice these days with her loving foster dad. She was socialized with kids of all ages, dogs of all ages and cats from 4 wks of age.

Penny loves the Venice area and has asked to find a forever home in that area so she can walk the streets and boardwalk  she has come to love so much! She will, of course take all offers into consideration- but Venice is her heart!

Penny is belived to be a bull terrier cattle dog mix.. She is 3, soayed and vax’d.
