My name is Mardi, named after the carnival celebrations that take place in the city I was born, New Orleans! My birthday is actually February 26 and that is when the festivities are taking place! I was named this for my fun loving spirit, Mardis likes to party!! I can be a goofy little girl really! I LOVE to just romp around in the grass or when I’m really lucky I like to play tag with my friends and family! I have a lot of energy so I will be happiest where I can get out and play and run around! I’m a good natured pup and get a long with other dogs and even cats! I’m a good little girl who is potty trained and UTD on vaccines. When I’m enough my new parents will need to get me spayed. My mom will soon be physically unable to care for me so I’m looking for a new family to love and care for me. Oh by the way I’m believed to be a bull terrier and hound mix and I think that’s what you call a fun mix! Apply to adopt me, and let’s have an amazing life together!

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescues approved vet at 6 months of age. Please see our website for more information.

*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
