Cairn Terrier
White / Cream
Meet Lady! She was very loved, but her human moved into a care facility and she was forced to give her dogs up. Lady is a beautiful 24-pound Cairn Terrier mix, around 11 years old. But dont let her age fool you - she still has a LOT of love to give. She is heartworm negative, up-to-date on her shots, spayed and microchipped.

The good news is that, since shes been living in a happy home, Lady is already crate-trained, house-trained, leash-trained and ready for her next comfy home. She loves naps, walks and car rides. She gets along with other dogs. She even tries to play from time to time as she gets to know them.

Lady has lost most of her vision and hearing due to her age, so she can be easily startled by fast movement. She follows her humans around the house for security. When her humans are gone, she lies by the door waiting for them, so she would love a home where people are home most of the time or if they take her with them. She is quiet and calm for grooming and once shes familiar with her surroundings, gains confidence and relaxes a little.

If youre looking for an easy and easygoing dog, Lady is your gal! Especially with her vision, Lady will need a fenced yard if shes wandering off leash. Please consider opening your home to this sweet senior girl - she deserves a home of her own and would make a wonderful companion!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
