Meet sweet Princess! Princess is a 5 year old mix that has a pure heart of gold! Princess was surrendered to the shelter when her human had to move into assisted living and could not take their beloved pet with them. Princess is heartbroken. She was very afraid at the shelter. Overcome with fear, she wouldnt even go for a walk. Luckily, she was taken into a foster home where she is working through this huge change in her life. Princess is working on her independence, but she is still very attached to her foster mom. Princess probably lived her life in an apartment and always had her person with her for bathroom trips and other outdoor activities, but in her foster home she has a big back yard and a doggy door. Day-by-day, though, shes becoming more and more independent and learning taking herself potty. Sometimes, her foster mom finds her on the back porch just taking in life. She even attempts to play with her foster brothers.Princess will do fine in a home with other dogs, but she would also do great in a home without other dogs. Princess is what we call a "Velcro dog", so she wont do well in a home where she is alone for extended periods of time. Princess is kennel trained, but she is also fine as a free-roaming dog. She is house trained and will let you know when she needs to go potty. Princess is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations and is on heartworm preventative. If you have any questions or would like to meet Princess, please contact her foster mom at FabEulessFosterMom@yahoo.com
