Violet
Est age 1-2 years

Violet is a beautiful young Calico who ended up in a ferel colony in the Manteca. Violet was trapped and ended up giving birth to a litter while in the trap. She was spayed along with vaccines but did not act feral.

After her babies were old enough, a rescue took the babies but not Violet. The plan was to put her back into the feral colony but she had a very small chance of survival since she was clearly not feral. I offered to take her in and find a rescue or home for her. My first thought was to let her relax while getting to know her in order find her the perfect home.

After 2 months of having Violet in our home, she not only has been the perfect guest, but this wonderful cat has emerged. Violet is so kind and loves to be with us. She greets us every morning and is quite vocal as she loves to talk.

Violet is great in the house and acts like she runs the place. She uses a litter box, eats well and LOVES toys. She currently has 2 cat trees and quite a few toys and is always playing.

Violet seems very comfortable with everyone including dogs. We have 3 dogs and she wants to be around them and interact with them.

The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.

All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped.

We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, have a goodie bag with toys and coupons for Petsmart along with other complimentary items.

We offer free nail trimmings for life for not only your adopted Lapcats cat but any cat in your household too!
