Description:
Meet Ava! She has just recently made her way back to this rescue under the saddest circumstances: she was originally adopted from us 8 years ago, but a shelter notified us that they had her in their care after scanning her microchip. Her "owner" dumped her citing an international move. Ava is 18 pounds and could use a good, high-quality diet! We are looking for a person that will give Ava a real FOREVER home this time!

Ava is now 10 years old, incredibly friendly and affectionate, but not super playful. She adores her current temporary foster and would be a perfect solo kitty for an adult (she is not a fan of young children). She is okay around dogs that will leave her be. Avas ideal home would be a mellow one with a human that wants a couch (or lap) companion. Ava would like her second time around to the final (and best) one!

NOTE: Ava does need a foster home! She is currently in one with young children and she would prefer less activity...

Interested in adopting? Please visit our website at www.thecatsmeowanimalrescue.org to fill out an application and view our weekly scheduled adoption events. One application covers all cats and kittens staying at The Crumbs and Whiskers Cat and Kitten Cafe, those staying at our Petco locations, and those in individual foster homes.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
