Sweet Luna, we promise it only gets better from here. This darling is an at least 10 year old, fawn, female Cane Corso looking for a happy ending. Luna was seized as part of a cruelty case involving a larger farm and came in with horses, other dogs, and birds. We dont know much else about her history but we speculate that she may have been kept in an environment where she wasn’t able to stand, as her back end is covered in bed sores and she has severe muscle wasting in her back legs in addition to some sores on her feet, overgrown nails, and potential eye problems. Her horrible past treatment didnt change her beautiful personality! Luna (or Luna Tuna, or Princess Tuna) is as sweet as can be, and is a true gentle giant. She loves to get head scratches and give very gentle kisses, and she has adapted well to a wheelchair but can also move herself around and get up and down by herself most of the time! BDHP is going to get this beautiful girl some much-needed medical attention while shes in foster care, and then shell be ready for the retirement that she truly deserves. If you have space in your home and in your heart for a wonderful senior dog, Luna is the girl for you!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
