Please meet good dog Perdita.  Perdita came to Ahimsa Rescue after she was picked up by the local animal control when found running lose all alone and without any form of ID.  Perdita was so very afraid when she arrived at the shelter that she barely moved from one spot that she laid.  

With the love and kindness of Ahimsa volunteers who provide care for the shelter animals Perdita felt better with every single day.  Now she is a bundle of joy!  Perdita seems to be house trained, and she tries very hard to please people.  

Perdita is still quite young, playful and active.  She is ready to learn and fast to learn.  She is a very smart girl too.

Once your adoption application is received and approved a convenient time will be set for you to meet and adopt a pet.

Ahimsa Rescue Foundation’s adoption donation varies between $150 and $250 for each pet. Ahimsa Rescue Foundation invests on average $200 per dog on medical, microchip and incidental care.

When you "Opt to Adopt" your ADOPTION PACKAGE INCLUDES:
-Pet that has been temperament tested
-Neuter/Spay
-Veterinary General Wellness Exam 
-Vaccinations: Rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis
-Blood testing for heartworms, ehrlichiosis, lyme and  A Phagocytophilum disease  
-De-worming for hook, round, whip and tape worms
-Teeth Cleaning if needed 
-New ID Collar, slip leash and ID tags
-Microchip Placement and ID Tag
-Lifetime Registration of your Microchip with Avid microchip company.
