Description:
Sweetheart Chelsea and her goofball brother Max are quite the pair. Chelsea was adopted from us back in 2013 when her dad fell in love the first time he laid eyes on her. Which we dont blame him one bit. She had a really happy life with her dad for all these years and every check in we had with him all he talked about was how amazing she was and how much he loved her.

Fast forward to earlier this year when we got the heartbreaking call that Chelsea and Maxs beloved dad had passed away. We always say "once a Lunas House kiddo always a Lunas House kiddo" so when Chelsea found herself in need of a place to go we welcomed her back into the family with open arms.

The other thing we always say here is "expect the unexpected" so when we found out that Chelsea had a younger brother who also needed a place to go, and who would get stressed when away from Chelsea, we welcomed Max into the family as well.

We believe Chelsea is a Cattle Dog mix and she is around 12 years old as of 04/21/22. We are told that Max is a Great Dane mix, but dont worry hes not too big, and is around 5 1/2 years old as of 04/21/22.

We would love to see this sweet pair find a new family to help heal their broken hearts after the loss of their dad and the life they both knew. They would do well in a home with older children that has room for them to play and have fun. A fenced in yard would be wonderful but a family that is a bit on the active side and enjoy nice walks would be great too. Chelsea is a bit of an older gal so she may not be able to fully keep up with Max but she so far she hasnt had any issues since being back with us.

Max does have some mild allergies that havent been causing him too many issues but may need extra attention in the future. Max could also benefit from some training as he is a bit of a goofball but he is overall a really sweet good boy.

If you would like to meet these special dogs, please email dogs@lunashouse.org to set up an appointment. Please be patient to hear from us as we are all volunteers and may not be able to respond immediately.

Our volunteers make sure just the right home is chosen so they require a home visit to make sure there are no safety issues. You must live within a 50 mile radius of our location in order to be considered.

The adoption fee for a bonded pair is $400 and includes vaccines, flea prevention treatment, neuter/spay, and micro chipping. Like us on Facebook!!
