NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY:

Chiquita is a sweet  6year old blond chihuahua girl that craves your attention belly rubs and snuggles. Being close to her person and sleeping with them. She’s learned to use steps. She’s a quick learner. She’s quiet in the house and likes to follow you. She sits and waits for you to come out of the shower.

She is a little sassy at first but as she adjusts to her surroundings and the dogs she’s good. She is not fond of cats. She wants to chase my Morris so I have to keep an eye on her otherwise she tolerates him laying on the couch nearby.

She is a good eater and gets excited when it’s meal time by jumping around like a bunny rabbit. She enjoys treats apples bananas carrots and the like.

She likes to play with toys and being outside with the other dogs.
Very sweet little girl.

Chiquita would do best in an adult only home - no children that live there or visit on a regular basis.  

Due to COVID-19 we are a little more limited on volunteers and the availability (and safety) of home visits.   Local applications are given first priority and some out of town areas will not be able to be processed.

At this time, we will only be able to process applications that have an excellent current vet history.  If you haven’t had a pet or verifiable vet history we will not be able to process your application.

ADOPTION DONATION: $300


This adoption donation helps to cover the vet expenses for this dog including heartworm preventive which is dispensed at the initial vet visit and then goes with the dog at adoption. All vet records will be provided to adopter.
