You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lil Miss (Missy) is a chihuahua mix who came to us from Texas to find her new family! She is about 2 years old and 10 lbs!

Missy is a super fun little dog! She loves other dogs and they are so drawn to her magnetic personality. She has a way of even bonding with the scared timid ones. Her best friend is Victoria and even though she is the younger dog she has really taken her under her wing! They play and wrestle and chase squirrels together. Missy would love to have another fun little dog in her forever home.

Missy loves her people with all she has. She is always looking for love and would just stay glued to you all day long if she could. If you dont pay attention to her she talks - a lot - until she gets what she wants. Her talking is not a bark - although she does that too and therefore would not be good for apartment living- cute little squeals - its adorable!

Missy is not totally housebroken. She uses the doggy door and pee pads but still has accidents at times. Not sure why but it does happen. She is crate trained and barks at first or when she hears something but is otherwise pretty good in there. She is working on her leash training. She is not perfect but she does at least try.

Although missy is loving and playful and loves her family she remains uncomfortable with strangers. When people visit she barks relentlessly and has to sit in her crate for a little bit to settle down. Its all fear-based and she does not bite but it is something worth mentioning. She is also uncomfortable with some kids. She is fostered with a toddler and is fine but a 10-year-old visits and barks at her the entire time even though she has seen her frequently. She would probably do better with a less social family.

Missy loves toys. She loves blankets and burrows under them sometimes. She is a wonderful companion who will snuggle with you and keep you entertained with her antics. She is very loved in her foster home and we know whoever adopts her will be in love with her too!

Missy is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $350
