Hi there! My name is Doll which suits me both with looks & behavior. Im a petite, lively little loving jumping bean that is also snuggly sweet. MY WHOLE STORY I am young, somewhere around a whopping 10-12lbs and Im guessing Ill stay this size. AHF says Im the well-known mix of chi-weenie (dachshund & chihuahua) but I am as looong and lean as the next Doxi. I go in on October 5th for my spay. I came from a hoarding case in Alabama with lots of dogs but that hasnt ruined my zest for life or love for others. I LOOOVE to play with big and small dogs alike - but I appreciate those with a respectful, gentle approach. That being said, I am a little more skeptical and subdued around unfamiliar humans. But once I know and trust you, I love with my whole heart. I am not yet kid tested but due to my size and unique shape with my luxuriously long spine, I definitely need older, respectful kids in the household and apparently, I dont care about cats. Im working on my potty training and using pee pads while youre gone. I spent weeks in a cage at the AHF kennel, so I know I can be crated, but I much prefer to be free - especially at night with my fur siblings and foster momma. Im lucky enough to stay in a gated portion of the house with a bed, crate, and toys...without rugs or carpet - just in case. Im a good girl and dont get into mischief. At night, I want nothing more than to snuggle in bed with you if youll let me. And trust me, I am the best snuggle buddy! Ill be honest, Im learning to have confidence on a leash. Foster mom says I have the cutest little trot but Im super cautious of anyone/dogs walking behind me. I much prefer to sprint & romp around in a yard with my doggy siblings. I am SUPER speedy and playful - and Ive perfected an adorable play bow and bounce like a bunny to pounce on my friends. But dont worry, I dont have an aggressive bone in my body. I just know I really Really REALLY need a yard and a little lively, patient play buddy.
