In shelter Dog

Fresno, CA, 93705
Pet name:
Yellow / Tan / Blond / Fawn
Our sweet and sassy Annie is ready to find her forever family!!!
This little one found herself as a stray in our local high kill city shelter. She was scheduled to be euthanized because she had some type of injury to her leg that prevented her from walking properly. While others looked past this common beige little chihuahua we saw a diamond in the rough ?
After consulting with 2 vets and a specialist we made the decision to amputate her leg and boy that has not slowed this girl down at all!! She zooms all over the place!! Annie is about a year old and she loves other dogs!! She loves people but does take a little bit to warm up and not be nervous. Being with other doggies really helps her relax and builds her confidence so we are looking for a home that has at least one other well behaved dog so it can teach Annie the ropes. She is weighs about 10 pounds and has really long legs ?
Annie is currently in a foster home in Fresno.
If you are interested in more information or meeting this silly girl you can find our adoption application on our website and it can be emailed back to

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
