Introducing MiMi. Mimi is sweet, and has a great personality. She is looking for a forever home to share her love with. She loves everyone and cannot wait to be your BFF. MiMi’s foster family says this is one of the easiest fosters they have ever had. She is going to make someone VERY happy!

MiMi recently came to CRT as an owner surrender. The family could no longer care for MiMi and were looking for help in placing her with a new family MiMi is a great little girl and we are happy to have her.

MiMi gets along great with the other small dog in her foster home. She is very friendly and her foster sibling immediately loved MiMi. She plays chase with the other dog, and then shares her doggie bed for a team nap. MiMi also loves toys. She is so cute when she plays with her ball. She also enjoys chewing on doggie bones. MiMi loves laying in the sun and sunning herself. She would love to spend mornings with you in the yard.

MiMi is very friendly and loves her family. She is a little cautious when she meets new people, but within 5 minutes she is on their lap looking for love! MiMi is easy going and happy. MiMi loves belly rubs and affection. She will sit on your lap and snuggle with you throughout the day. She loves to cuddle under blankets. If you can’t find her, call her name and the blankets will begin to wiggle as she makes her way to you! She loves napping with you and will snuggle up against your tummy under the blankets and snuggle, snuggle, snuggle! We love the joy she displays. This girl makes us smile every day!

MiMi is about 6 years old. She weighs about 7 pounds, which is a perfect weight for her. MiMi has a beautiful tan coat with white highlights. We love her ears and her gentle eyes. Note that when MiMi was surrendered to us, she had hair loss due to allergies. We have worked with our vet and have found the perfect medicine to heal her! Her coat looks great now, but if she does have allergy flare ups, we will send her medicine with her so her new family can treat her.

The perfect home for MiMi would be one with moderate energy and a lot of love. We believe she would do well with another dog buddy as she has grown up around other dogs. She would do well as an only dog, too, as long as her family was around to spend time with her. MiMi has a very affectionate and loyal personality. She would love to hang around in your office all day and would be no problem at all. MiMi does need a family who can check on her every 4-6 hours (would not be a good fit for a family that works away from home 10-12 hours a day). MiMi is not a loud barker. As a matter of fact, she did not bark at all when we first got her. Her foster brother has taught her to bark at the door bell now, but she settles down very quickly. She would do well in either a home or an apartment. There are no children in her foster home, but we believe MiMi would do well with older, mature children (8 and older).

MiMi is potty trained. She has never had an accident in her foster home. MiMi has learned to use the doggy door in her foster home. MiMi is crate trained. At night, when you say “go to bed” she goes immediately to her crate, burrows under the blankets and sleeps through the night. She also enjoys daily walks with her family.
