Meet #IzzyDoguire

Izzy is approximately 4 months old having recently been spayed she is ready to meet her new forever family. She has yet to meet a stranger, and loves nothing more than to greet her foster siblings (the fur and skin ones) every morning. The excitement inside her compact frame is the sweetest thing to watch!

She has learned SO much from the pack, like how to chase down lizards, how to roll in the warm grass, how to walk with a group of dogs and sniff out where everyone else has been!! Izzy knows which bones are the favorites, yet happily allows the other dogs to use their authority to tell her shes the baby and gets the baby bones. She has met small dogs that think they are huge (she stays away) and big dogs who barely even know shes there. Her favorites are the ones she can catch up to, or who chase her back in a kind, gentle play.

Izzy will never let you forget a mealtime and that she gets a training treat after trips outside, and outside is place she likes to enjoy very regularly!! Runs in the fenced yard, walks around the neighborhood, car rides.... she wants to DO IT ALL!!!

As for people, Izzy has picked her favorite (the mom who feeds her, got up with her when she was younger, knows when she desperately needs snuggle time, feeds her) but she will happily move over to any human who is around her and has made the mistake of sitting, because she is a lap lover.

While we have absolutely no idea what she is made of, we know it includes a healthy dose of spunk and pizazz. We expect her to remain a compact little package (no guarantees, of course) and for that reason, we will be looking for homes with adults only or that include older kids (teens minimum). She will need a playful, energetic and gentle doggy buddy in her forever home to learn from and chase around!

Izzy is crate trained and sleeps in it all night! She is also quickly getting this house breaking thing down, as long as her humans pay attention when she asks!

Izzy is UTD on age appropriate puppy vaccines, on flea and HW prevention and spayed and microchipped.

Maxx & Me is an all volunteer, all foster home rescue and do not have a shelter. Please allow at least 48 hours for applications to be processed (missing information may slow the process, so please take your time and be thoughtful in your answers).
