In shelter Dog

Rockwall, TX, 75032
Pet name:
Chocolate Labrador Retriever
Buttercup- Chocolate lab Fixed. Shots. HW preventative (Trifexis) Housebroken. Approximately 8 years old but will play like a pup. She lives to play fetch. She knows commands of shake and sit, outside, inside. She is loving, loyal and very affectionate. She wants to be with you. She is approx. 90 pounds. She eats from a slow feed bowl. It is better she eats alone due to food aggression. She does not like other animals around during feeding; however we can stick our hand in her bowl while she eats. She is currently living with other dogs and cats. She is okay with older dogs of similar size that leave her alone but is aggressive at times if animals come near her head (especially when laying down). She is ok with cats if the cats keep their distance. She lives with 3 inside. She does not like stray cats. She does not like dogs that are small or especially puppies. She has a strong prey drive. Her ideal home would be as only pet or one additional dog of similar age.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
