Description:
Hi there; they call me Vanessa! Im a smooth-coated collie who is ready to be a sweet companion to a special family or person. I am 2.5 years old and have a beautiful tri-color coat. I was born blind in my right eye, but it doesnt impact my vision too much and I get around just fine. Loving people is what I love to do most, so dont be surprised if you find me hopping into your bed to snuggle and sleep near you! Gentle in nature, Im also great with children.

I love to play with toys and play chase, especially with other dogs! Hopefully I can find a forever home that has another dog who can become my best friend. Previously, I lived in a home with cats nearby, but I was never around them, so Im not sure how I would do in a home with cats. I ride in cars very well, and Im learning to walk more straight on a leash. My foster mom says Im incredibly sweet, gentle, and will make a wonderful companion. Hopefully Ill steal your heart too! If you are interested in rescuing a collie, please complete this short adoption questionnaire. Our standard adoption fee is $450. This fee helps us to cover (and sometimes only partially cover) the expense of providing each dog with a Health Exam, Rabies/DHPP vaccines, Heartworm Test, Heartworm Preventative, Flea & Tick Protection, Microchip, Neuter/Spay, a Bath and any other medical needs.

Thank you for your consideration in adopting a collie in need!!!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
