Rosie is a gorgeous, sable & white purebred, rough coated senior lady who is ready and waiting for her forever home. Rosie is a loving dog and craves attention, but not needy. She is house trained but has not had a lot of house time. She is skittish on wood floors so carpet and tile would be best for this 9 1/2 year old. Rosie likes other dogs but if there are noises that agitate her (lawn mowers, ATVs, motorcycles, etc,) she will turn around and jump on a dog if they are close by; that is the reason for being an ONLY dog. Rosies coat is growing out after she somehow slit her abdomen open and had a lot of her coat shaved to stitch her back up. Rosie is spayed, on heartworm preventive, current on vaccines and a dental about 8 months ago. She is microchipped. She walks well on a leash and loves to go for walks. She is crate trained, a good rider and will use a ramp if needed to get in a car or SUV. Rosie deserves the best! The application and "terms of adoption" are located at www.dfwcollierescue.org. They must be submitted at the same time. A home visit is required and references will be contacted before an application can be approved. An adoption fee, and Texas sales tax of 6.75% is required for adoption. For more info call or text 214-668-5794. Rosie is being fostered 1 hour southwest of Ft.Worth, TX.
