Bonded with Precious Joy - bonded pairPrecious Joy and Lady Red are a sweet senior duo that loves to cuddle and give kisses. They have been together since they were young, explore the house side-by-side, clean each others ears and faces, and nap within a paws reach of each other!

Unfortunately, their circumstances arent uncommon. Sadly, their dad passed away and now their mom is in poor health and needed help taking care of them. DDRTX is committed to helping these two lovely ladies live out their golden years to the fullest in a safe, loving, forever home.

Lady Red is an adorable little red with an adorable little nub of a tail! She is working on making herself the best doxie she can be. She will have a dental appointment to help her get her smile bright and cheerful. She also plans to start expanding her taste buds to include green beans, carrots, and healthier snacks. She wants to have a healthier lifestyle as she steps gracefully into her golden years.

Like her sister, Precious Joy, she is great on a leash, is potty trained, and will sleep anywhere that is close to her sister. Lady likes to take her time arriving places. When its time to go outside to do her business, she will slowly stroll to the door - not in a rush at all; when its time for dinner, she will glide across the room and wait patiently for her bowl. She doesnt go anywhere fast - shes more precise and likes to enjoy every moment!

Dont let her 12 year senior age dissuade you from falling in love with her. She is getting in great shape, is healthy, and has many years to come!

Being non-profit, we rely on generous individuals like yourselves to help save these fur babies. Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds. All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property. Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval. Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!
