This beauty has certainly had a rough go of it. Jade was a teen mom, having had kittens at less than a year old. Even at such a young age, she was a great momma! Adding to that stress, Jade suffered an allergic reaction during anesthesia while getting spayed and went into cardiac arrest. Thanks to the heroic efforts of our veterinarian and her staff, Jade was able to pull through. Unfortunately this left Jade blind. She’s still a bit wobbly on her feet, but is doing phenomenally well given the circumstances! Jade is a true queen- she’s an independent kitty and will seek out attention as she sees fit. She likes to be pet and brushed on her own terms. That said, she may become more affectionate in her forever home over time, as she becomes more comfortable. She has perhaps the cutest meows, chirps and trills that a kitty can have. Jade appears to like dogs but will be best suited for a home where she’s the only feline (obvious royalty). Because she is a special-needs cat, it would be best if Jade’s forever home was quiet and without small children. An experienced adopter would be ideal. Jade is approximately a year old. She was able to be spayed (using a different anesthetic), and is microchipped and vaccinated.
