Description:
Animal Profile: Nicky is an approximately 4.5 month old female red Doberman puppy joining us from Riverside in California on 7/31. She is reported to be sweet and friendly with people and we are also taking in her mom Galina and siblings, who will be going to separate foster homes. This girl is ready for the good life after living the first months of her life in a defunct kennel. More info as we get to know her.

Foster Update: Nicky is a sweet puppy with an old soul. She wants so badly to please, and is just lacking confidence with new spaces, loud noises, and walking on leash. She is good in her crate, very food motivated, and learning that life outside of a kennel isnt so scary. Her foster family is working hard to develop her leash manners (she had never had one on before arriving in Seattle!), and her basic obedience. Nicky is respectful of the cat in the house, and loves the adult dogs. She would do best in a home with large breed dog experience, a securely fenced yard, and a fellow canine companion or two for her to learn from. Shy dog experience a plus!

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
