Pet name:
Tails *Spirit Cat*
Domestic Long Hair

**Spirit Cat** Tails came to us from an area where a very nice man was feeding a number of cats outside. When the man passed away, his family asked us to help take them in and get them vetted and hopefully adopted out. Tails is a gorgeous long haired 2.5 year old brown tabby that had a few litters of kittens before we took her in (She has now been fixed and she will no longer have any more babies). Because Tails was living outside for her entire life, she is still learning to trust people. We have been working with Tails and she will now accept squeez up treats for us.

Spirit cats are not for everyone - they are very shy with people. They will live in your home, but are rarely seen. They are cats that live with you and who may sometimes grant you the opportunity to touch them...or, they may not. Spirit cats are great with other cats. They are also a great choice for people with a quiet household, who want to make a difference for an individual cat.

Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped.

All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.

Location: Bolton, CT
Adoption Fee: waived to an approved adopter

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
