MY STORY: Meet Starlight!
Starlight is a young kitty that arrived at the shelter very pregnant! She gave birth to her 4 adorable kittens and took very good care of them. Now that they are weaned and almost ready for adoption themselves, it is Starlights time to shine! This sweet girl loves to play and is very kitten-like! Give her a toy mouse or a fluffy ball, and she will play with it for hours! Starlight is so soft and fluffy! She likes to be petted and loves the company of people. She hasnt yet decided how she feels about other adult cats, and is a little hissy towards them. Stop by and see this beautiful girl!

This cat must live indoors. The adoption fee is $50.

All cats and kittens at Raccoon River Pet Rescue (RRPR) have been spayed/neutered, have age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an online adoption application at and select menu option Adoption. Serious applications only please. Applications will be considered in the order we receive them.

Once an application has been submitted, a member of the RRPR team will contact you usually within 24 hours. Please be patient and thank you for your interest in adopting with us!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
