Hi, I’m Stormy Jo! I was born right here in downtown Houston. My first home was a storm tunnel! Can you believe? I was found with my mom. She’s been spayed and released and is back living downtown. I made my way into a foster home where I’m safe and have all kinds of toys and yummy food. 

I’m learning all sorts of new skills that will make me a perfect pet. Like how to play. I love play time, it’s my favorite. I’ve also learned how to use the kitty litter box, which of course I’m great at. I haven’t had a single accident! I’ve also leaned to cuddle. Turns out, I have lovely purr and snuggling up in a lap is almost as good as play time. And have you noticed the beautiful gold flame dancing on my face? 

Other than my mom, I haven’t been around other cats, but my foster mom has a great big dog that I’m starting to get used to. He was awfully scary at first but turns out he’s a softy.

I’ve come a long way since my time in the tunnels … At first, I was really scared. I was even afraid of the light, because I always lived in the tunnels. But not anymore! I’m brave and adventuresome (at least a little, sometimes I’m still shy). I love exploring my new world and even though I might be shy around new people, I’m a really sweet and gentle kitty.

I’m looking for a loving home where I can stay inside all day every day. I may have spent my early days out on the street, but now I’m strictly an indoor kitty!
