If you look up "perfect" in the dictionary, youll find Flossie. Flossie is a delightfully sweet and affectionate cat who is looking for a family to love. She was surrendered to Brave when her owner was no longer able to take care of her. Flossie adjusted quickly to her foster home and shes a true treat to have around. Flossie would love to be an only pet so she can have all of the attention. Shes a fluffy, gorgeous dark torti and she also has extra toes! You wont want to pass up adding Flossie to your family.

Requires another cat: no
Good with other cats: does best as an only cat
Would be fine with young kids (under 10): yes
Good with dogs: yes, given time, space, and patience to adjust - doesnt appreciate being chased
What type of home?: Quiet to normal

We were told Flossie is 8-10 years old but our vet suspects she might be younger. It is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $75 ($40 in October) which covers age appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, FIV/FeLV testing, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. If youre interested in adopting this kitten/cat, please submit an inquiry or email BraveAnimalRescue@gmail.com to ask about our adoption process (please check your spam or junk email if you do not hear back from us within a few business days). We are 100% volunteer staffed and will respond to your email as soon as possible. After you have submitted an application and been approved, we will set up a meet and greet between you and the kitten/cat. Meet and greets are held virtually via Zoom and we offer a trial period to ensure your cat/kitten is a match. Preference is given to applicants with a verifiable vetting history and homeownership. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to learn more about Brave Animal Rescue and our mission.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
