Picola was a shy kitten but has blossomed in her foster home into a sweet, young cat. At just over a year old, Picola has all the hallmarks of a Maine coon: She has the soft fur, bushy tail, and ruffle around her neck and paws that look like little mitts. She has the funny quirk of wanting to smell your fingers before you pet her. She is head shy but likes to be scratched on her neck and stroked on her back. She is very curious, enjoys her toys and likes to place them in her food bowl. Picola has come a long way since first being fostered and will no doubt settle in happily when she finds her forever home. Picola has FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), which is a virus transmitted between cats mainly by biting. Casual contact does not transmit this virus and it is not transmitted to people or dogs. As an indoor-only kitty, with an excellent diet, and a healthy and loving home environment, Picola should be able to live a reasonably normal life. It in know way affects her sweetness! If Picola interests you, please fill out an online application at http://www.snowflakerescue.org/online-application-cf7/ and we will be happy to arrange a visit.
