**************************************************************************************** TILLY is part of a bonded pair and MUST be adopted with her partner, TOM. **************************************************************************************** ***IN FOSTER*** It’s "T" Time! Tilly Time, that is. Tilly is a confident, lovely cat who’s life was uprooted last year, after she and her BFF, Tom, were surrendered from the only home they had known since they were kittens. At first, this change was hard for these two sweeties. It took them a little time to adjust to their new surroundings and determine that they were in a safe place. They are both generally shy around new people, and in the beginning they would only explore when they thought no one was watching. Interested adopters will need to be patient to show Tilly and Tom that they are have nothing to fear—that only their best life is ahead of them! Tilly is gentle, easy-going, loves attention, and will tell you when she is seeking affection. She has found her voice and uses a funny little meow to let you know when she wants some love. But attention is always on her terms, because if shes approached too quickly, shell run away. Besides affection, Tilly loves playing with Tom, being brushed, and making biscuits in the morning (and not just because she likes food, although she does!) Speaking of food, pretty Tilly, with her rockstar markings that make you want to “KISS” her head, does need to lose a little bit of weight. Shes an unapologetically solid gal, but she would benefit from some careful portion control and a watchful eye at mealtimes (as she’ll often eat her own meal quickly so she can eat Tom’s, too!). Tilly and Tom are bonded and need to be adopted together. We aren’t sure how they would be with other pets or young children just yet, but we know that they would make a wonderful addition to a quiet, patient, loving family.
