In shelter Cat

Athens, GA, 30602
Pet name:
Dory - Athens, GA
Domestic Short Hair
Coat length:
Dory is a kitten in an adult body! Dory loves to be around humans and will rub against your legs when you get home to tell you how much she missed you. At night, Dory loves to lie on the bed near you and stick her face up to your face to tell you she wants more love. Dory also goes crazy for wand toys dragged on the ground and anything related to wet food! She has the cutest meow when she wants something but is usually pretty quiet.

Dory would prefer a home without other animals where she can be the center of attention! She has previously lived with dogs and cats but didn’t enjoy the company of either, though she tolerated them when they didn’t come near her. Dory would make a great companion for anyone looking for a loving single kitty!

Adoption Application -

All of our cats and kittens are fostered in homes so we know their personalities. They are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV and FeLV, up to date on shots, microchipped, de-wormed, and on flea preventative. Our goal is to match our fosters with the best home possible.

The adoption fees for our felines are as follows: $100 for kittens (or 2 for $170); $85 for adult cats (or 2 for $150); and $50 each for our special seniors/FIV+ kitties. Please email for more information.

Not yet ready to adopt? You can sponsor a pet now to help pay for medical expenses, special diets, toys and treats, emergency medical care, etc. Our adoption fee rarely covers our expenses, so any size donation is appreciated! You can donate by check or Paypal by visiting our website at

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
