Hello, my name is Evelyn. I am around three years young but my friends say I dont look a year past one. Perhaps due to my small stature or maybe its my youthful glow. I am shy at first and startle very easily with loud unexpected sounds. I really like to find and hide in small nooks and crannies as they comfort me, but I will usually poke my head out at the sound of a bag of food being shaken or a can of delicious wet food being opened. I get surprisingly excited before every mealtime, even if there is still food in my bowl because Im a really big fan of routines. I must point out that I dont mind being picked up but dont enjoy being held. I do love soft chin pets and gentle scratches behind my ears. Though Im slow to warm up to new friends I can do well and may even thrive with other adult female cats, but male cats make me uneasy; kittens and juveniles sometimes have too much energy for me. I do enjoy playing, but Im very laid back. Once I warm up to you Ill even roll over and show you my belly to show you my gratitude and trust.
