Search the internet for "jade" and youll find it signifies wisdom and brings harmony. That definitely applies to me. As a non-seeing cat, Ive navigated life with skill, grace, and intention. My lack of sight has only enhanced my other superpowers. Part Olympic athlete and part show pony, I prance around my foster moms 4-story townhouse like a champion. Whether Im chasing cat-nip filled toys, exploring nooks and crannies, or visiting the litter box, I hit my target. In addition to fun and games, I love affection, cuddles, and good communication. For me, that starts with a verbal cue! Before you pick me up, chat me up a bit so I know youre coming. Basically Im low risk and high reward! I love life, good music (my favorite musician is Sting) and get along well with everyone including cats and dogs. Kids are great too as long as they are gentle and cat-savvy.

If youd like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website - - and choose me, Jade II!

My adoption fee is $150.00 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, weve already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. Weve been checked by a veterinarian, and were up to date on age appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calcivirus and panleukopenia). Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
