Pema is one of 7 kittens born in her foster home to a great mom. She raised them from birth until 8.5 weeks old before she moved to another foster home to get ready for her spay surgery. Pema used to be one of the more reserved of the litter but she has really come out of her shell and is now eager for attention. Super sweet purr box and biscuit maker!!! Her bigger brother, Nylma, loves to pester her. Apply to adopt to schedule a meet and greet. You can also meet them at The Thrift Hound, 234 New Leicester Hwy, 10-5, Mon-Sat. Get $50 off the combined adoption fee when adopting a pair of kittens. All cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, vaccinated (whatever they can have in the period they are in our care, some will still need additional vaccines after adoption), given dewormer and flea preventative and provided care for any known illnesses during their time with us. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
