Every year millions of unwanted kittens are born! It might seem that adopting one cat wont make much of a difference, but to this one kitty it would make the DIFFERENCE OF A LIFETIME! It is our goal to help reduce the number of unwanted, homeless pets in our community, all dogs and cats adopted from the Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control shelter are sterilized prior to leaving our facility thanks to a grant from PetSmart Charities®.
