Twinky is a 7 year 4 months old cat. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving, cuddle bug, look no further! She is blind, but what Twinky lacks in sight she makes up for in love, and doesn’t let the fact that she is blind stop her from having a fulfilling and comfortable life! Her favorite activities include following you around, sleeping on your lap, and burrowing as deeply as she can into your arms for cuddle time. Twinky proves it doesn’t take sight to see how great of a fit she can be for your home! She is a very sweet and snuggly kitty. She sometimes loses track of where the human is in the room and will let out some soft meows, almost like chirps. She can be very vocal when upset or lost. If she doesn’t know where she is, she’ll let out a quick meow (that sounds more like a chirp!) to figure out where you are. She would do best in a home where shes the only ground-dweller, where the layout and general movement of the household are consistent., and with people looking to stay put for the next few years, so that she can best understand her way around the home. Shes a pretty mellow cat. Being blind she mostly sticks to the ground, rather than climbing other than onto couches and beds. She loves following people around the home. She enjoys playing with toys that crinkle or ring, she doesnt let being blind stop her from lunging at her "prey", it just takes some trial and error to figure out how to play with her in a way that keeps her engaged but isnt frustrating to her. She loves pets and scratches, especially gentle scratches on her belly. She burrows her face into whoever is petting her, its very cute. She doesnt love being picked up or held for extended periods of time, but she wont complain about being picked up to be put on your lap. If she gets comfy, she could stay there for hours. When I wake up I often find her sitting at the edge of my bed or snuggled up to my leg.
