Samantha is a large, stately and magnificent ebony-sleek girl with a tuxedo bowtie on her neck. When she sleeps on her back with her feet in the air, you discover she also wears a bright white bikini! We were contacted by an elderly Franciscan Sister about Samantha, as she was having difficulty caring for her due to a previous injury that Samantha had after being outdoors. Unfortunately, Samantha does have some nerve damage and arthritis in her back end and requires attentiveness and good vet care to keep her healthy. If you have a special place in your heart for our (slightly) special needs girl, you will be rewarded by her grace with purrs, love nibbles, and delight. Samantha is definitely a people-kitty and enjoys quality time just one-on-one with our volunteers. Although she lives in a room with other cats, she is a little timid around them and may do well as the only kitty to win your heart, or perhaps as one of two. After all, there is plenty of her to go around. If you want to give this beautiful, sweet girl a quiet, loving home, and you have a large sofa and perhaps a king-sized bed, she can lovingly provide the rest!

Cat adoption information and application can be found at www.staf.org.
All cats and kittens have been vet-checked, spayed/neutered, and are up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fee includes carrier, scratching pad, starter pack of food and litter, and toy. We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs. We offer free advice anytime about your adopted cat. If, for any reason, it doesnt work out, we will take the cat back, anytime in the future. Potential adopters must be interviewed in person, at the shelter, and live within 150 miles of Cincinnati. We will ask you to return to the shelter for a second visit to be sure of your decision. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or kittens! Please email Jean at jean@staf.org for more info. on adopting!
